Hidalgo County Judge Ramon Garcia's Opponent Set to Announce Run

JD Salinas is ready to announce that he is challenging incumbent Ramon Garcia for Hidalgo County's top post. The Hidalgo County Courthouse was abuzz today with rumors that Salinas would be announcing his candidacy tommorrow in McAllen near the FBI building. The county judge's race is expected to receive much of the attention in the March Democratic Primary. A Republican is not expected in November.
